I've recovered from my marathon. Felipe Calderon won the recount, but AMLO normally takes all of it to the court. There exists a massive protest getting ready to occur in Mexico City tomorrow (Saturday, July 8). It will be interesting to determine what are the results now.....I simply hope there is absolutely no violence. The stereotypes of Mexico are very obsolete and that i hope how the Mexican people can maintain their cool and not get ugly over this. They are a lovely people who have a wealthy culture. Yes, it comes with an enormous level of poverty here, but the solution to that is education and much better infrastructure, not government handouts. Mexico is joining the world as a force being reckoned within regards to business, and contains for so long hung its head to the Americans.

I enjoy living here because I'm able to really make a difference in lives. Things i do (teaching English) matters. It is good. I will be here to make an improved tomorrow for Mexico, to aid it rise in the ashes of the earlier existence like a Third World country. I want to help it to help itself, not rely or depend on its government to produce decisions for it.

I have seen an adequate amount of what is happening in my own country with new laws being made every ten seconds to protect us from ourselves. Mexicans are very resourceful, they may be bright, and intelligence steered in the right direction can make miracles happen.

In the North, individuals are heavily committed to making all of Mexico better. I'm standing with them.

Please, once you arrive at visit Mexico, don't flash your money around and act obnoxious. Don't expect it to be like an extension of the United States. Come here with an open mind and also the willingness allowing Mexico being Mexico. And bring an English/Spanish dictionary! Be a good guest. Please.
